Pathway Players on the Move!

Pathway FC is proud to announce new clubs for 4 players this summer. As always, we will be following our boys closely and we wish them all the very best of luck ahead of their respective seasons this summer. Here’s where they will be plying their trade over the coming months.

Pathway FC is delighted to have 3 players with Erie Commodores this summer. Under head coach Dale White, Erie will be hoping to be very competitive within the division this summer.

Tajay Reid is a 22 year old Canadian right back/centre back who has just graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in NAIA D1 where he enjoyed 2 years in a very competitive team in the division. Tajay has played with Erie before in 2017 where he was part of the Midwest-East Conference winning team, as well as playing in the US Open Cup.

Calum Ferguson is a former Canada U20 striker who began his professional career at Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Premier League and also won the Scottish Cup during his time there. He has also played for Albion Rovers and Elgin City in Scotland before moving to Valour FC in the Canadian Premier League. Calum’s most recent a stint was with Canterbury FC in New Zealand where he won the South Island Cup.

Cian Lynch is a 22 year old Irish striker who is also a scholar at Cape Breton University in Canada, where he was nominated for the Canadian Premier League U-Draft in 2021. Cian started his senior career making his first team debut with Cabinteely FC in the League of Ireland at the tender age of 17, and also played with Lakeland Tropics in USL2. Cian scored 15 goals in 15 games while he was studying at SCAD in the NAIA where he was Conference Freshman of the Year and was voted into the All-Conference Team of the Season.

David Coffey is an Irish goalkeeper who has represented his country at underage & university level, where he reached the ¼ finals of the World Student Games. David is currently on scholarship with Lindsey Wilson College, where he played alongside fellow Pathway player Tajay Reid for the last 2 years. David began his career at Cork City FC during which time he played in the UEFA Youth League in 2016 beating HJK before being eliminated by AS Roma over 2 closely contested games in the Round of 16.
